Crispy and crunchy, celery is a common  staple in salads, soups and side dishes. The seeds are used as spice. It is crispy, crunchy and a good nutritional vegetable.

Celery belongs to the Apiaceae family (Apium graveolens), the stalks growing to about 8 inches tall to be harvested. the stalks are eaten raw or cooked as an ingredient in soups, meats and as a side dish.

The oils extracted from the leaves has been used since ancient times to help alleviate illnesses as osteoarthritis, nervousness and used as a diuretic remedy to eliminate excess water from the body. Celery contains salt but it's a different salt than what we normally consume. The type of salt contained in celery is organic and natural, essential for good health.
