Devilish delicious steak and shrimp image

This devilish delicious steak with shrimp recipe is easy and combine surf and turf for the lovers of meat and seafood!  Devilish delicious because it is hot, tangy and wicked with a bit of sweetness. Try it; you will not regret it!

Ingredients:

4 grilling steaks - could be New York Strip, Ribeye

2 1/4 teaspoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

3/4 cup of seafood bisque

2 tablespoons fresh, finely chop green onion (chives)

1 package of about 24 frozen shrimp

3/4 cup of seafood stock

1 cup diced yellow onions

3 tablespoon sherry wine

 

 

 

Instructions:

 

Preheat oven to 425F. Season the steaks with 2 teaspoons of the Cajun seasoning. Preheat large saute pan and add olive oil, then add steaks and cook about 2 -3 minutes on each side to get the meat brown. Set aside, momentaneously.

 

Arrange the shrimp on a baking sheet and begin to bake to a light pink - about 5-6 minutes. Add the steak to the shrimp and turn the shrimp around. Bake about 10 minutes or until steaks reach a minimum temperature of 145F or more, according to taste in meat (Minimum temperature should be 145F, according to the FDA

 

Using the pan where you saute the steaks, reduce heat to medium and cook the onions in the steak drippings, cook to transparency  2-5 minutes or until tender. Add the stock and sherry wine. Cook about 5 minutes or until liquid is a bit reduced. Add seafood bisque and cook a few minutes until sauce thickens.

 

Drizzle the steak with the sauce, top with the shrimp. Sprinkle the remaining seasoning and chopped green onions for decoration. Ready to serve.
