Treats Drinks Halloween
Special treats and punches to spook and enjoy!
Servings: About 9
This treat will sure boost your vampires and ghosts energy to go trick or treat!
2 1/2 cups cranberry juice, chilled
2 cups pineapple juice, chilled
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 1/2 ginger ale soda, chilled
Combine cranberry juice, pineapple juice and almond extract in a pitcher. Mix together and add ginger ale. Mix.
Serve over ice cubes in martini glasses.
* Make it more fun by buying ice cubes trays in shapes of Halloween.
Ghost Hunted Punch
Serve this punch in black glasses or black plastic cups!
Servings: About 12 (1/2 cups) servings
8 tall glasses
3 cups water
10 whole cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
1 pint coconut ice cream or frozen yogurt, softened
12 ounces pineapple juice
1 1/4 cups of lemon seltzer water
3/4 teaspoon coconut extract
Combine water, cloves and cinnamon in small saucepan. Bring to a boil: reduce heat to low. Simmer covered for five minutes. Let it cool. Strain spices; discard the leftover.
Add the spiced water, the frozen yogurt (or ice cream) and pineapple juice in a punch bowl or pitcher. Stir all until frozen yogurt or ice cream is melted. Pour in the seltzer lemon water and coconut extract. Garnish with additional cinnamon sticks.
Wicked witch Punch
Garnish with Cinnamon sticks
Servings: About 4 tall glasses
1 1/2 cups of boiling water
2 green tea bags
2 small fresh ginger - sliced peeled
2 cups of guava juice
3/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Combine boiling water, tea bags and ginger in heatproof container. Steep five minutes; discard tea bags and ginger.
Add guava juice, pineapple juice and lemon juice to tea mixture; mix well. Serve in tall glasses over ice. Garnish with cinnamon sticks
Increase portions to make enough for a bigger crowd. If you are having a grown ups Halloween party, all these treats would be a wonderful party pleaser as you can add either: rum, gin or vodka and make it an alcoholic treat for Halloween.
